About Us

Hello!

My name is Karen (the good kind lol) and I am an Artist, a Mom, a Grandma, and an Entrepreneur. I own a brick and mortar in Historical Downtown Stuart Florida. A little bit about my story.  I signed my lease on March 13th 2020 and three days later the world shut down. So I started demo on the shop and my doors opened mid April 2020. At that time, parents were sick of the their kids, kids were sick of their parents and people were ready to get OUT!! Florida really never shut down and so our community found us!! We brought a few crates of records for people to dig through and little did we know, this is what the community wanted... RECORDS!! Well we had thousands of records at home (not hoarders!! Collectors!! lol) and I called home and said "DUDE, WE NEED MORE RECORDS"!!! So we brought in more records and the rest is history.

We are now an official participating store in RSD!! What is RSD you ask? Well Record Store Day was conceived in 2007 at a gathering of independent record store owners and employees as a way to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture surrounding nearly 1400 independently-owned record stores in the US and thousands of similar stores internationally. The first Record Store Day took place on April 19, 2008. Today, Record Store Day is celebrated at independently-owned brick-and-mortar record stores around the world.

We also BUY/TRADE RECORDS depending on genre and condition. Please email us and let's discuss... the topic is RECORDS!

And the story continues...

My art canvas' consist of vintage furniture, up-cycled canvas', vintage vinyl records (Record Art), mannequins and, well let's face it, I'll paint anything!! It's all on the site. I also house personally curated vintage items and collectibles.

Thank you for stopping by and welcome to our vintage community. We're so stoked that all these vintage items are still around for us to enjoy and to use. Think about it... all things come back full circle. Bell bottom jeans, vinyl records, vintage jewelry, just to name a few. One of my favorite things is to watch customers flip though the crates of vinyl records and see their smiles form. It's because they remember!! That song, that band, that memory of the past. When times were simple. Music brings people together without judgement. We all enjoy music. As they say, Music soothes the savage beast.

The original quote by William Congreve, "Musick has Charms to soothe the savage Breast/to soften Rocks, or bend a knotted Oak,”
