Dr. Milstein, who lectured at the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens botanic gardens, in 1970 made a record, “Music to Grow Plants By,” with Environmental Sound Control Inc. He maintained that the vibrations of the music were beneficial to the growth of plants indoors.
